Cydia Totalled My Ipod!

ok so cydia messed up my ipod for good. i cannot boot up when i turn it on it stays on the apple forever, when i try to boot in dfu mode, it turns on, turns off, then turns on again. itunes does not detect it. what do i do!

Just a thought but instead of saying "i fixed it", maybe you could help the next guy (or gal) out and say how you fixed it. When someone posts a question and people respond "Do a Search", searching and finding this post won't help much.:)

this happens to iphones and ipod touches not running cydia.

Most likely a restore

plug in the usb cord to the computer but not the device.
now hold down the home button
plug the cord in to the device while holding down the home button
keep holding the home button for 30 seconds or less until the computer recognizes the phone
One the black screen or usb screen comes up you should be able to restore it.
