Boring, ugly, stu...
Oh, that's right, Aztec. Duke made his first one-liner.
Let's welcome duke to Macrumors! (http://www.macrumors.com/forums/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=7953)
Check out the middle of the page! :D

well, technically the post isn't one line, but I'll agree that sometimes you don't need to say much to get your idea across. its not a 'I agree' post, that's a totally different animal, and something I won't do.
I had to comment, because I found it in bad taste, especially after dealing with all the crap the first thread about Ellen Feiss generated. and, no, its not my work:rolleyes:

I'll give you that, duke. But you did post a one sentence response with little meaning! :p :D
I would NEVER go into the area of a simple one word response, such as "I agree" or "Maybe" or some ************* along the lines. Those posts have even less meaning than what you did, duke. But I was making note of your decision to walk away from the long posts, similar to jefhornyfield (I'm sure someone is going to ask), and join the community of shorter but useful responses. And even if they are super-short, you damn well made some sign of humor.

I still can't believe the problems the first thread generated. I'm sorry I started it--though someone would've done it had I not.
Then again, I don't have any young daughters. I might think differently if I did.

don't loose any sleep over it. you're right in saying that someone else would have said something about it.
but it would be tough coming in here and seeing things like that said about you, whether they were true or not. and there is no reason not to think that she saw it - there are other switch stars on the forums. things to consider when slamming real people.

Probably, but if you look at all the "Guests" in the "Whos Online" list, all of them are viewing serious threads like "New G4 tower pic" etc. :D

It might have been believable that she's high if it was a flower power iMac ad and ended up with freezeframe like that :D
Seriously, don't you think the first frame at the start of some of the switch adverts are really unflattering to the people in them anyway ?

ha, this is basically the video equivalent of sound bites - video bytes? - if you take something out of context it could be used for almost anything with some creative editing.
