Evening, fellow Maddicts.
Recently I've been told of spy photos or renderings of the newest unreleased PowerMac body design--and at this moment the only thing "downloadable" pertaining to it, or remotely similar, is a vague, poorly assembled "schematic" of what appears to be the "G4 II," Terminator edition.
Anyway.
Apple seems to have hunted down all the heretics who believe that human knowledge should be free to the world, and now all of those once-promising links lead to the same damning statement: "HA HA, MOFO, YOU'RE SOL! JUST REMOVED! BIG GUNS CAME IN, TOOK OUR LOOT!"
So. If we can build up enough community momentum, I'd like whoever DOWNLOADED those original, posted pics (and you KNOW you did), to e-mail them to me. If there are others who would also like to have them delivered in this fashion, simply tack on a request/reply to this forum (after I've received my own set).
My e-mail address, as it should appear, is <citizensane@mac.com>
If someone would please emerge from the multitude and do me this kind favor, I promise them something of equal worth in return.
Thank you for listening, and thank you for sending a picture as promptly as possible.
Fondly,
Mr. Anderson

i don't have the pics, but saw them, wasn't impressed and hope that's not what apple is going for. You should try and be patient and get surprised in August.
But failing that, I'm sure someone will mail them to you.

As far as we know MOSR hasn't been told to take down the pictures yet, so there's at least one "heretic" still standing...

Don't worry. The pictures are fake, pretty bad fakes at that.

Thank you for such an immediate and comprehensive response.
None of the internet links worked, however my mailbox was DELUGED with photographs.
If anyone would like them, write me at <citizensane@mac.com>

Yes, you are among the many from whom I received the pictures.
Thank you. Thank you all.

I think that those pictures were just case mods, it didn't look practical enough to be an "apple" design. It also was ugly as hell! haha, lol

Watch out, posting them on your mac.com website is a sure sign you might lose the website. To be on the safe side open a lycos account and have them e-mailed there.

given the pending deletion of all non registered (payed up) .mac accounts, I think it would be an interesting test to see how long it would take for Apple to move on removing the images from one of their sites.
but what gets me, is that they've gone after some sites, but others still have them posted - what gives?

Hi, I showed the pix to my dad, a proffesional photographer for Auto world magazine, and a photoshop user, and he said from what he saw, they were pretty legit. Just my two cents, but we all know that there are people out there that are extremely good at photoshop work so all we can do is hope the pics were real.
In the meantime, go to your local barns and noble and pick up a copy of Auto World Magazine. It is a awsome magazine and has alot of info on car that the realy world would own!

Did anyone else notice that there is no Apple logo to be seen on the face of the 'rumor' machine?

If it's legit, it sure is not what I'd look for in a new PM.
Heck... Apple should design and sell motherboards seperately for customizers ;)

Well, the .mac account lasted about 2 hours and then it was deleted. Not even a courtesy cease-and-desist letter :(

I wonder if Apple has someone watching the rumor sites...if so, do they also input false rumors to get our heads rattled....and/or delete mac.com emails that have illegal pics
