Does anyone else realize the new core i-series iMacs bare more than HALF the power of the most powerful Mac Pros?! This is the kind of power we've been waiting for for years!! Since about the iMac G3 we in the market for iMacs have been hindered by slower lighter CPU's comparable to those in notebooks.

But now...now we have the power...and now...we plan to use it >8}

Apparently they don't have spellcheck on the new iMac, seems to be a feature that would have been nice.

I'm glad they switched to Desktop CPUs. the iMac is becoming more of a mainstream machine and we need all the power we can get.:D

My very first iMac is on order (i7). I have never bought one before due to the slow processor so I am very pleased. Plus it has a decent video card!

Outdated card? Oh I'm like soez sorriez, I didn't realize a video card became worthless after a year or two. -.-
