When I try to open an ipa file from my gmail account accessed through safari, rather than letting me install it, I get the option to download or play it. Neither of these options are what I want, but I downloaded it anyway.

Can anyone tell me the location of the file so I can ssh in and delete it.

Thanks.

Or, you could download the app through the App Store and not illegally pirate apps. kthxbye

Or, somebody could just answer my question instead of trying to be clever.

Ok, fair enough. How about, if I download a non-specific file type in safari, where does it get downloaded to?

Should probably have just said that anyway.

If this is your question then it's in the wrong section of the forum.

I think it's lost in the aether. You'll probably have to buy the safari downloader plugin from the Cydia store to download it properly :)

Ok mate, can you tell me which part of the forum I should go to to ask about SSHing into the file directory to find a file? I think this is probably it isn't it?
