How to get lossless

I am a big fan of AAC on my mac and i am having issues finding a way to get AAC/lossless music. How is the best way you would recommend doing this. I am having issues finding the on amy kind of music download site. I do not have the money to buy each and every CD i would like. Does anyone know of a CD rental site or a way to get my music if i do not have the disc into a lossless format. Anyone have any Idea's

If you do not have the disc and you do not have the orginal file you can't get lossless. If the file has already been compressed into an AAC/MP3 format you are out of luck.

And really, you are asking about downloading music and renting cd's to take the music and then give the cd back?

I have a feeling this one will be shut down pretty quick...
