Apple Black Friday 2010 thread

Some people this year were able to take advantage of the Black Friday sales alongside their student discount. By some I mean that I read one account, but still. That is enough to call it true right?

Anyway, I was thinking. This is the day I start saving for my 2010 purchases and I was curious if anyone know whether Apple would have deeper discounts next year or should I go ahead and keep the machine that I bought yesterday for $149 off (from Amazon)?

I am worried that next year Apple will realize that $101 off it not enough and they should try to beat Amazon's deals. I can probably use my other machines while I wait but I'd like everyone's feedback.

I would definitely return it. Apple will offer huge discounts next year because their reseller kicked their butts this year. I'm waiting for next year because I want USB 3 and that other new high speed bus. Also makes sense to wait since 10.7 should be out then. And I'm going to enroll in a community college course so I get the black Friday and student discount together.

Ohhhh true that. Well ok then, I also heard things bought in 2010 of any size are future proof bad boys, right?
