Installing leopard on a second computer

I was wondering if you can use the leopard disc that you get with your mac to install it on a second computer.

I am wondering cause I dont have leopard yet and my friend said he would let me use his disc to install leopard, cause he got a new mac, but I want to make sure it will work before I do it.

If not I am just gonna buy it for christmas, but I dont want to waste the mone if I dont need to, money is pretty tight for me.

Techincally? If it is the same model Mac, then you could, but if it was the same model, you'd have Leopard - right?
