With the iPhone 4G thats yet to even be announced but rumored to be coming out in June, should I upgrade to it or wait until the 5G comes out presumably in 2011 sometime?

</obviously tongue in cheek>

Merry Christmas all.......

Merry Christmas all.......

Technology advances at such a rapid pace that today's gadgets are obsolete in days.

You should buy now if you wish and enjoy, believe me, the iPhone (any iPhone) is a marvel that doesn't loose its shine (unless you are someone like Spaz)

I think the 33g will be a good phone, just bury it with me, if I live that long.

You should wait for the 6G, I heard the phone will know what you want do without any physical input. :)

Why even wait for the 5G? Why not just skip over that and go for the 6G?

That's correct. The even numbered models are always best.

Oh god, Texans...

I personally am a fan of the 12G. But who knows maybe by the 14G it will be on Verizon.

Still won't have multitasking, though.

I'm waiting to get the ------------ . That's right. The phone is so amazing they couldn't even name it. I hear it can replenish itself incase of accidental damage.

Why is everybody responding like this? It's a logical question, more logical than "3Gs or 4G?"

If you've already got a 3Gs, than it's a good question: 4G, or wait another year so my contract expires? ;)

This thread and logic...two things that are far from one another.

Just like the old Star Trek movies, every third iPhone G is good and the rest are crap. So wait for the 6G and the 9G and the 12G. BTW I hear that Psystar has got out of the Mac business and they're now installing iPhone OS on Blackberries so you might want to check those out too.

It's not a logical question...

AFAIK 5G hardware doesn't even exist yet... probably not even talked about? Who knows what it's going to be called, or if it's even going to be created.

No one knows if the next iPhone is even going to have 4G...

Yes wait for the 6G cause you know it will eventually come out and you don't want to be stuck with an older model iPhone :)
