I am in the web development phase of making a site about photography. The goal of the site is to teach people about photography and help enhance ones skills. When the site is completely launched in January or February 2010, it will include: Guides, How tos, Forums, and Wallpaper downloads. The forums are located at http://camerafocalpoint.freeforums.org/. The site will be located elsewhere, but it is not up yet.

I am asking for help for the following.

1) Please, REGISTER! Even if you don't plan on posting, it would help a ton for me so I know this wasn't a complete failure
2) If you did #1, Post a topic. If you could do this, this would be a HUGE help.
3) I need wallpaper submissions. If you have any wallpaper that you think is good enough for wallpaper, please send it to camerafocalpointwallpaper@gmail.com, and include a name for yourself, and name for the image. Please make sure the images are at least 1920x1080.

Thank you VERY much for your help guys. I've always loved Macrumors, and I trust that the MacRumors community can help me as I start this site.

Hey there, I also have a site. It is geared more or less as an Apple blog
with tips and stuff. But one thing I do is design wallpaper. I am a design
student, and would love to link to your site off mine. Do you have a banner? My site is in my sig, go check it out and see if you would like to
link to mine. I am going to be starting a "links" page sometime today,
and would love to have a banner/logo from you to put in it.

Also, in my blogs you'll see a "wallpaper" section, I post all my designs there so feel free to link to them. Just credit me. They are all 1080p
(1920x1080) is that good enough? In any case go take a look. Site will
be changing URL'S, I just bought Appleskills.com and will move the site,
and leave a redirect at the old url.

Also, if you ever want any custom graphics let me know, I could make you
a couple of headers for your page or logos, whatever. Just email me
the sizes. There is a contact form on my page to directly email me.
Just tell me the color scheme- whatever else that applies. Looks like
your going with red and white ish colors?

Ya, I would love if you could eventually put a banner going to my website. I don't have a banner made yet, but I could easily do it. What size do you want?

Also, I will use your wallpaper, I like it alot. And yes, 1920x1080 is fine. I actually should change the requirement to 1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200.

edit:Yes, I am going with red and white colors. Here is a picture of the homepage right now. I will also put a logo on it, give it some more eye candy, and replace the countdown with an image or something.

Thanks! Yes, I will make ya some custom graphics and you can use
whatever you want =) I'll probably start in the next day or two. Hey that
goes for anyone else on these forums, if you want any custom logos
done, please hit me up on my site. I freehand tag and sketch and then
Photoshop em or Illustrator. =)

As far as banner goes, I was thinking one of those normal rectangular
sized ones you see on different sites.. let me find one brb.

468x60 looks like the normal size. =)

You have any higher resolution images of your wallpaper? DeviantART says they are 1680x1050. I would really like to set a standard of 1920x1080 if possible.

So you're advertising and just want people to register and post whatever to your site just so it doesn't look empty. No thanks. MR isn't for advertising.

I just need some help to get it started. And if you look, I'm a very active member of Macrumors, so its not like it is spam. I simply need some fellow community members to help me get started.

I'm sure even Macrumors had to do things similar to this when they were starting up.

Sorry, it's still promoting your site which isn't allowed.
