need to get mac os back

m using macbook, while installing the windows my brother deleted the mac partition.

i downloaded leopard now its in DMG format , shall i burn it like that on DVD and boot from it , i need to delete the windows i want my mac os back.

Why not use the discs that came with your computer?

i dont have them .... m 6000 Miles away from home! 2 months to get back :)

Just use your Leopard install disk and run Disk Utility.

Downloading and installing a non-retail version of Leopard isn't likely to be supported on the Forum here

I firmly believe if you walk into an Apple retail store and show them proof of purchase (your MB would be a good start as it should be registered to you) they may be able to help you.
