Can anyone tell me why I can't open a .m2v file in quicktime? I ripped a DVD using OSEx, but alas, I cannot open the .m2v file for the life of me. I have done everything that I read in this article, up to the part that says "open .m2v file in quicktime". Someone out there HAS to know. Right? Heres that article:

You have to have the QT6 component "QuickTimeMPEG2.component". You can get it from the Apple Store. I think it's $29.

Alternatively, you can d/l vlc from www.videolan.org.
