The only way to add stuff onto it it to use the sync cable and hook it up to a real computer, like a desktop. Or even a laptop or notebook.

Oh wait, maybe you could just buy a laptop or notebook in the first place!

Once it's jailbroken it will be amazing.

I'm trying to understand your point for all of these negative threads?

Have you confirmed this with Apple? Do you have an iPad which you have experimented with? Have you used the Camera Kit with the SD card slot adapter?

I'm just sayin'...

Software.

I'm not saying I agree with that or that it won't dissuade some people from buying it, but its something that could easily be fixed with a software update.

What I think iTunes should really do is allow photo management within iTunes just like it does with music and movies, and switch to files the same way it currently uses photos... just allowing you to sync a folder of files to the device.

Laptops and notebooks that have all this stuff for cheaper without having to jailbreak are much more awesome.

So why are you so invested in the iPad if your laptop or notebook or Palm is so much better???

Are you just bored and looking to start things with other bored people? ;)

I feel sorry for you considering, you seem to have an urge to come onto this forum and just be a tool and a troll. Please leave before you get banned (which is inevitable now). Stay classy (if you were classy to begin with).

Palm Pimp. We understand you don't like the iPad. It's not the product for you. You have clearly outlined your objection in the MANY MANY threads you have created.

But your seriously straggling the line of simply Trolling now. Why not simply walk away from the iPad forum if you object so much, or are you merely attempting to provoke reaction over and over again.

Post History's can tell interesting stories, and your's paints a picture.

I just presumed the schools were closed today. The language/phraseology is that of a 12yr old.

It all adds up to an individual with little clue about the big picture and the general public's desire for simple UI

Add stuff to it? Im unsure what you mean?

App store will be wifi enabled like the iPhone
iWorks will work in the "cloud"
Google Docs will work in the "cloud"

You will not need to own a PC to get this thing to work.

It's not supposed to be a netbook.... it's something new.

Here we go again. It's not meant to be a notebook, netbook, laptop, what have you. It's not meant to be a standalone computer either. It's meant to compliment a larger computer MUCH like a pda device. The touch may be just fine for that, then keep using the touch. If you can't see any reasons for you to have this device, I suggest you take your negativity out in the Windows forums where I'm sure more people will agree with you.

I'm pretty sure there is a mounted shared folder on the device for file transfers and that it can access my iDisk to grab stuff from the cloud.

There is also airshare and I'm willing to bet that an app is quickly released that lets you interface say a thumb drive with the camera connection kit or pull files from the SD card....

But please, continue to spread your FUD.

You all should calm down and wait for it to actually ship. Already found this:

http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/10/01/29/apple_to_target_ipad_at_business_users_through_new_features_sources.html

We will see more "missing features" people have been talking about before it actually ships.

Take a deep breath now...
