I've actually been dying to see this movie, however it isn't even remotely
close to where I live.

I'll pick it up when it comes out on DVD in the states. I'm a Zatoichi fan and I hear Takeshi's take on it is an interesting one.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say that I wasn't blown away. Can't get past the obvious CGI blood effects. Kinda cheesey.
