Hello to everybody!

I wonder if any screenwriters are around here. I am currently working on two scripts and would like to share some infos, ideas, contacts...

Anyone with useful hints or sites?

Hmmm.....Final Draft? I still use 5...what's the difference between 5 and 6? Besides it being Carbon...

Hmmm... never used Final Draft. I preferred M$ Word, I like organizing and editing everything by myself ;)

Where are the advantages?

I use screenwriter, so I can't speak for final draft, but I would say that the advantages of any screenwriting package over word is significant.

It is a worthwhile investment for anyone trying to break in.

Final Draft will automatically foramt for you, and IIRC, it gives you options of breaking down the script by character, scene, etc.,. You can go tohere (http://www.finaldraft.com) to learn more. It's the defacto standard for screenwriters.

Just to say; ideas, contacts, and info are pretty pricey commodities. If you are just starting out, and are looking for a little help getting going, check out the mentor program at the WGA (www.wga.org). They may have some answers for you.
