You should take a look at the EVN web board, the EVN FAQ, and the information on the Ambrosia page. The release date question gets asked every couple of days, currently not even the development team knows for sure. It is in final beta, so it should be soon.

Note to the flame war people: If you try to start flamewars on the Ambrosia boards you will rapidly get banned.

Nobody on the Ambrosia Boards knows and if they do they wont tell me. They just say "When its ready"

...even the development team doesn't know yet. That question gets asked a lot.
