A quick iPod question

I'm thinking of getting an iPod, but have one simple question. I know they can store note in text format. How big can the files be and is it pretty easy on the eyes to read for a significant amount of time from it?

They can be up to 4k in size, and it is pretty easy to read. Also, you can do some basic HTML coding on the notes.

I belive 4k is the biggest file size, but the new iPods might have changed that.
