Hey everyone! I haven't been too active on MR for the last year because I've been a very busy guy!

I finally graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in May, and have finally cut a new animation reel and put it online! You never know who may be out there reading this and I have been contacted in the past by someone who saw my webpage here...and that led to work. Therefore, I'm posting my reel for everyone to see.

I'm looking to work in stop motion or CGI. I live in New York but am willing to relocate as long as I can speak english. If you know of any work, or have friends that could help out, please drop me a line. I appreciate it!

RESUME: http://www.mindoverpixels.com/resume.html

For the reel, I still need to make separate pages for the low and hi res versions. I'll link to the hi res which WILL NOT LOAD unless you click play. But it will let you see my breakdown either way. Hi res is 17 MB and low res is 4.9MB.

I'll also post a direct link to the lower res file, since the breakdown is the same.

Low Rez for Dial up: http://www.mindoverpixels.com/movies/reel_low.mov

Thanks for checking it out!

Wow! Quite a variety of styles you've put together as a demo. I hope you'll find the kind of job you want.

Which platform (or both?) do you use Maya on? Have you made much use of the Maya Unlimited features?

And what is Framethief (mentioned on your resume)?

I have used Maya on every possible platform. When I took the intro class we were running Irix on some really old SGI O2's. But right after that we got new computers and I was using it on Windows in the lab. Then the Mac OSX version came out and I was very happy! It runs about the same except with dynamics its faster on PC's.

I've used the Unlimited features a little bit, but I don't want anything to do with the technical stuff. I want to do character animation, and so don't need those features unless I'm doing my own CGI short, which I probably wouldn't do because I'd rather make my own films with stop motion.

Framethief is a frame grabber for Stop motion. It only works on Macs and is the best Stop Motion program I've used so far. I love it...well worth the money! http://framethief.com/
