I've got 3 IDE drives in there now and I want to add a 4th, but the ribbon cable won't reach to the HDD plate closest to the front of the case. What if I got 4 rubber risers (one for each corner) and used them to stack the 4th drive ontop of the 3rd drive (which is on the middle HDD plate).

that should work dude
at MWNY the mac experts said you can have 4 ATA drives inside but he said to stack two on the far right side (which to me seems a little silly, the middle one makes more sense if ya wanna stack)
Anyone else have any insight on this topic?
I hope the new G4 Power Mac cases will make it easier to add four HDs (gimmie a few of those 200GB caviars)

Maybe you could get a longer ribbin cable. Or get one custom made that will reach. Most electronics stores, (ones that carry parts not pre-made stuff), will be able to supply your with all the stuff you need to do it.
Just a thought, might work.
