not too sure where does this question belongs to but how do we clean up the harddisk of our mac? i only installed the OS in my pb and somehow, this has ballooned to like 11gb.. my mp3s and pictures are all in the other drive, with my OS and words in my main drive... so i really have no idea how did i accumulate so much stuff in my hard disk... how do i clear them up?

Try OmniDiskSweeper. http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnidisksweeper/
Don't try and delete things that you don't know what they are. Bad idea™.

If you have installed garage band and developer tools, then it would be around 10 GB . Garageband alone takes about 3-4 gb.

You can give Delocalizer (http://www.bombich.com/software/local.html) a pop. It deletes language files, particularly useful if you're Swahili is a bit rusty :D ...it works fine with Panther.

I don't think it's a good idea to trust something to automagically delete stuff for me..

It's a hard pill to swallow, but sometimes you just have to throw away some of that porn.
