i dont know how long this has been up but i was just checking the apple store and they are offering g4s + 17 - 23" displays with up to $500 money back!

From July 8, 2002, through August 12, 2002, get up to $500 when you purchase a Power Mac G4 and a qualifying Apple display from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller.

How the promotion works:
* Buy a 800MHz Power Mac G4 and an Apple Studio Display, Apple Cinema Display, or Apple Cinema HD Display and receive $300 back via mail-in rebate.
* Buy an 933MHz Power Mac G4 and an Apple Studio Display, Apple Cinema Display, or Apple Cinema HD Display and receive $400 back via mail-in rebate.
* Buy a dual processor 1GHz Power Mac G4 and an Apple Studio Display, Apple Cinema Display, or Apple Cinema HD Display and receive $500 via mail-in rebate.
* Complete the coupon and mail in the required proofs of purchase.

It was posted a few weeks back but its a useful reminder, I see that we will have new Powermacs before the end of this month but I have no idea on a date :)

I do the same thing...

asked by a higher level boss to uh, get on forums and push buying when needed. ie...we need to clear out some G4's before we rool in the new stuff, because you guys will not buy what we have, since we are announcing a 6 ghz chip later today....

so uh, talk to MBNA for that Apple loan and jump on the wagon.
