PB RAM 266 Mhz and/or 333 Mhz!?!

Hi, I just got a 512 MB PC2700 266 Mhz piece of RAM, but it wouldn't run on my 17" PB 1,5 mhz?!? Does it only support 333 Mhz?

yes. i have a 15" pb and only 333mhz ram works in it. i have loads of ram chips of every speed and so i've tried them all and only the 333 works.

i think it tells you this in the manual that comes with the pb too but i can't remember for sure.

PC2700 is 333mhz RAM. PC2100 is 266mhz RAM. Which is it that you have? You can't have PC2700 266mhz, thats not how its spec'ed. 333mhz will work at 266mhz, but 266mhz most likely won't work at 333mhz.
