greatest player is ronnie lott...not high profile like montana or rice, but four rings nonetheless...football is a defensive game more than anything...just like baseball is about pitching more than hitting
i am a 49ers fan, but the best teams ever were green bay, the cowboys, and the amazing browns
the cowboys nearly consistent dynasty for 20/21 years in 60s and 70s is better than the run the 49ers had from 1981 until young got hurt in 1999...the 49ers got more rings, but landry and his cowboys had the most consistent, long term dynasty ever
aikman, smith, and company got more rings, too than the old cowboys but nobody will call them the same type of team as the landry, dorsett, staubach company and america's team...five superbowl appearances, two wins, twenty years of the dallas blue being in the playoffs
