I just found this (http://www.info.apple.com/support/applespec.html) at the Apple website. I guess the iMac has really been out for a whole year now along with all the specifications. (look at the date next to imac G5) :o)

I noticed Apple has alot of weird things going on as far as dates.
For example: I purchased my iMac G5 in September. Yet when I enter my serial # for info, it said the purchase date was October something, 2004 - and it wasnt even October yet when I was checking that lol

This one was not delivered by FedEx, but by Einstein Express.
"I need you to deliver this last year."

Also the links to spec. pages for the iBook G4 (April '04) aren't there, nor the displays intro in June.
http://survey.info.apple.com/feedback/-you could send feedback regarding inaccurate info (such as the iMac G5 date type, outdated information) via this way.

That indicates you probably have an extra month of AppleCare. A mistake in your favor.
