Okay so I wasn't sure where to post this, cause I don't know what's wrong. My friend sent me a mpg. file of a dragon ball Z episode with fan translation. The thing is that quicktime plays about 5 min. of it then stops, but sometimes if I click near the begining of the movie it starts from almost where it ends if I let it play out. Then goes for about another 5 min. Sometimes though it just starts over. I'm really confused as to what's going on and why I cna't watch this movie my friend has no problem seeing. Any ideas anyone? Is it something messed up with my computer? or with the file? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a dodgy encoding to me, sometimes re-encoding 'bad' mpegs works, give it ago.

I don't actually know how to do it on a Mac, possibly with QT Pro (maybe someone with this could help out?). I do on a PC...do you have a PC?

just had a thought, if you might explain how you d it on a PC Verbose, I could look for specific software on the net for it. Thanks for all the advice so far though :D
