iPod Grows up

So i went to versiontracker and downloaded iPod it!

I just downloaded email, driving directions and all kinds of swanky stuff onto the little guy. This guy has developed a great product. It isnt as cleanly implemented as I hoped into the iPod interface but it is getting there.

Im giving him 14 bucks :)

Clever indeed. But I gotta wonder... what's the point if you can't modify or add to the information at all while you're on the go? To me that's one thing that the iPod will never be able to touch. Still using my Newton for that. :D

i had a newton for about five years and never used it.. it was too friggin big and just a pain in the butt.

I agree that having an inut device would drastically improve the ipod but i believe the 10gigs of mp3's make up for it :) I have a device the size of a deck of cards that has my music, driving directions, email, notes, important files, contacts, and calendar

its not a newton replacement yet... but it is better suited for my tastes.
