I got an iPod, FREE!!

I was the Best Man in my friends wedding, and as his gift to me, he got me a 10 gig iPod!! I'm so totally jazzed! This thing is so much fun...and it sounds GREAT!

I love the packaging. I got the box with Run DMC on it. They thought everything out, too. right down to the seperately packaged foam ear pieces for the headphones.

I paid $400 for when the original came out.

What do you plan to do with it? Do you have OS 1.2 on it yet?

yeah, 1.2 is really a huge upgrade from the firmware that came on the iPod from Apple.

I've tried out this iPod It software...pretty darn cool. :cool: just like a PDA.

I'll use it mostly for music, but it will be great to be able to transfer files to and from peple and places, too.

Anybody ever heard of a Finnish folk band called Hedningarna? I bought the CD to go on the iPod...and I've got to say, I'm hooked. Great stuff. :)
