Is there any program to backup some Diablo 2: LOD characters on WIN2K - possibly transfer to a Mac running Panther?
If not what files on the PC are required to backup the characters so when I reinstall Windows on a new HDD, all my little brother's guys and quests will be exactly as they were.
I don't play the game so I'm not too familar with it.
Thanks for any help.

Well, I'm no Diablo II player, but my guess would be it's in a save folder or characters folder or something like that. But, I am 99% sure it's a matter of transferring the files from the PC to the Mac, not using some special program.

There should be a folder called "save" in there somewhere, that's all you need AFAIK. I'm not 100% sure that the save files are identical between PC/Mac, but I belive they are.

I had played Diablo II on the campus machine in my dorm room last year before I bought my PowerBook. IIRC, I don't think that my Windows2K player file was compatible with the Mac version. You'll still have any online characters though AFAIK.

They are. I've transferred character files back and forth with no problem.
