Okay, so this is my recent new obsession and I want to see if there is anyones score I have to beat :)
My highest is 29 so far? Yours?

Some guy at toucharcade did the math and calculated the speed of the game and a bunch of other factors, and concluded that it would take at least 3 hours to reach that score. I don't know how accurate that is, but i guess it seems plausible.

Wow, I guess that's possible. I might have to fly to California this summer. With that 5 hour flight, I guess I can do that too! :rolleyes:

I thought the online scores were ridiculous, but TBF once you get to the fastest speed - about round the 75th landing it doesn't actually get any faster. High hundreds are possible when you've played for a bit so thousands aren't totally out the window.

I am playing for two or three hours now and my score is 76.

yeah...i know. thats why i said landings. i guess i wasn't clear enough on what i meant.

anyways, what i said about the 3 hours or whatever to reach that score is still true i think. I was thinking about the 3,000 score when i mentioned that above (I wasn't thinking of the 66,000)

A confident of higher scores now you can pause, exit, and continue with a game. A few good attempts of mine have been interrupted by real life stuff. Boo.


What about strategies? I try to set up lanes for each type of traffic, which seems to help.

but i only agree with scores that have been achieved in one go in one sitting..

pausing the game and coming back to it another time is cheating :p

the highest landings in a single game is 3155 by Poco not 66539. That was the total landings of all the games that person has played.

I typically just send each plane straight to their runway, choosing planes to retreat temporarily when collisions are about to happen.

Im an air traffic controller and it took me about a week and a half to get 308 as my high score.

Currently the high score at my facility.

I usually don't get less than 100 when I play, which makes the game pretty boring because it takes seemingly forever to get to that point.

Overall great game.

There is hope.... I've been stuck at 90 for quite some time, then went straight to 127 another time.... and bang 217 another.

It's like low/low/low/low and suddenly big score.

I always route planes of the same type over the exact same path when there's a bunch onscreen together. But that's only gotten me so far.

I think I'm up to about 120-something, but the thing is, the difficulty of the game increases until around 80 or so, and then it doesn't get more difficult, so the strategy is to just keep doing what you're doing, nothing really changes.

What strategies are people using? I haven't developed one that works yet, though I know that it's a good idea to keep the planes away from the edges. :)

I prefer the the Royal Flying Doctor Service game and my high score for one game is 13292 but now my ipod keeps crashing and whenever I get around 5000-6000 it just crashes and then I startup flight control again its as if I had never played the previous game, anyone else have this problem?
