Dell 3007WFP-HC Color Profile

So, I just made my purchase of Mini Displayport to Dual link DVI cable and so far so good..

Now, I noticed that the color profile between the 30" and my 17" UBMBP is different.. Somehow, my 17" is way better..

When I dig around the "Color" profile of display, I noticed that the option selected is "Dell 3007WFP-HC"..

My question is, is there any other color profile that I can select to bring my display as close towards my 17" UBMBP display?

Much of it might be the wide color gamut problem.

The way I see it, everything looks much better with my MBP than the 3007WFP-HC...

Perhaps it has something to do with the Color profile itself.. I had selected the "Apple RGB" version instead of the "Dell 3007WFP-HC" profile... It looks much better and color is much deeper, however, it is not close to the MBP yet..

I just finished calibrating my display with Apple built in calibrator.. Things look much, much better now... I am so happy.... But, my MBP display is still slightly better, I don't know why..

Is there anyone with other profile for 3007WFP-HC??

You will need to use a hardware calibrator to bring their colors close together, but even that's not guaranteed.

I just purchased a 24 in. Can you possibly send me the color profile that you have created?

The LCDs are totally different. Even the same model number LCD have differences.

how do you like the Dell 3007WFP-HC, thinking of getting it myself.
