is it me or is iTunes getting slower at doing updates on Tues?

hey it's now 10.42Am on the west coast, on tuesday. Before even at about 10PM Wed Apple would have updated the music store because that was 1AM east coast time. Anyway, it seem that they've gotten a lot slower on the updates, and also sending out the new music tuesdays email. Has anyone else noticed this ? For those of you on the east coast has it been updated yet? -n

iTunes has been updated for several hours now. It looks like nothing changed on the front page, but a TON of new music and artists have been added.

I haven't received the email yet, and sometimes I don't even get it until Wednesday.

They're pretty lazy at updating now days, probably cuz they didnt make it to 100,000,000 downloads in a year. But one of my fave bands music list hasn't been updated since oct and they had a huge collection of remasters (same label as what their last update was) and nadda on iTMS

It's still Tuesday here, the day they normally add music, and the list for April 27th (today) is almost TWICE as long as all the music added last week. Am I missing something, that doesn't sound like slacking off to me!

i think he's saying that they're slacking off on updating the actual store, not the music added. It's hard to tell what music they've added when they don't update the store's main page

I just saw the post iTunes Announcements (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=69444) and was wondering if possibly this could be why iTunes hadn't been updated yet. They are saying there was going to be a major conference call with some announcements on iTunes and the Music Store, which would include major improvements. Has anyone heard it?
