Discovered yet another use for the magic eraser...

I am a mechanic and sometimes shop grime get's on teh buk.

For really messy jobs I wrap the keyboard and trackpad in Saran wrap press N seal.

Yea that stuff is awesome I used it to clean up my old white macbook before I gave it to a relative. It looked almost like new after I used the Magic Eraser!

YES! Magic eraser (or the the generic equivalent of it) works absolute wonders on the Macbooks. Absolutely swear by that stuff for cleaning them, and often make mention of them to people who've let their MB's get filthy.

If you use the notebook in the shop often, you should consider getting an invisible shield.

I have the Invisible Shield on my Samsung Eternity. That stuff has been scracthproof against Industrial abrasives. I make grit at the steel plant and that pushed down on the battery cover til my thumb nail went white..

Can't tell where I did it :D

As for the laptop, Maybe if I get a big money trans job I will cover the MB with it. :D
