Apple TV USB help

Apple TV newbie here,

Wondering if it still possible to install a patch so that ATV will recognize external usb drives.

Trawled the internet but can only find a little information for earlier firmware versions not the latest.

Any help appreciated.

Yes, you can still do it.
But you have to patch the kernel first - which is a bit tricky.
