I'm taking my 3G abroad with me for a month to Dublin, London, and Spain. I'm wondering what is the best way to power my 3G.
It would be sweet if I could simply use my existing USB cable, but I'm not positive that I would be able to consistently find an available computer to charge from.
I of course have Apple's standard USB Power Adapter (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB352LL/B?n=iphone2&fnode=MTY1NDA0MQ&mco=MjQzNTIxNw&s=topSellers), but it doesn't fit in foreign outlets.
I could buy Apple's UK USB Power Adapter (http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MB051B/A?n=iphone2&fnode=MTY1NDA0MQ&mco=MjE0ODcyNw&s=topSellers) and presumably Spain's as well.
Could I simply add an International Power-Plug Adapter (http://reviews.cnet.com/power-equipment/kensington-international-power-plug/4505-3055_7-30923501.html) to the end of my standard USB Power Adapter?
Or is the best option to purchase a portable battery charger (http://www.buy.com/prod/energizer-energi-to-go-portable-charger-for-apple-ipod-touch-iphone/q/loc/111/205835291.html?adid=17992&dcaid=17992)?
