Is there any way of making finder act like windows explorer in that:

You drag a file or folder to copy into another folder. But oh no, you're on your 12" laptop screen and the destination folder is a screen or so up in the finder window you scrolled down.

In windows, you can drag the file to the top of the window and it will scroll (fast/slow depending on how close to the edge you drag it)

In the finder however, it does nothing. So to do this i have to dump the file 1 screen up, scroll up, dump it up a screen again, scroll up, and then drag it into the folder.

Any way of scrolling the window? I would assume finder can do this?

what I mean is, you have a finder window open which is several pages and therefore scrolling. What I am saying is how do you make the finder scroll whilst dragging a file? So it functions like windows explorer? So you can pull Item A from the bottom of the just and drop it into Item B at the very top, and about 2 screens worth of scrolling away.

the computer should do what you're wanting. make sure the folder you are trying to move is right on the top edge of the useable window (not the whole window, but the part where the icons live).
