Why is my browser so slow when I am looking at flash?

Hello Everyone!!!

This is my first post!! Does anyone know why all my browser run flash so slow? I am on a 17in 1.33 powerbook. Is there a setting that I am over looking somewhere? I have set for hight performance. And it is still slow?
