Hi all,

I was recently listening to a radio show, and the DJ was playing a piece of music, commonly referred to as "epic music" used in many sci-fi battles.

Now I only have noted the tune as

An Epic Age by The Immediate.

LINK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOh_HFR12dk&fmt=18&annotation_id=annotation_359773&feature=iv)

However the only piece of music I have found so far is a 2minute long set, and the piece played on the online radio show was a 4:58 long piece.

I would have asked for it from the DJ however the quality was very low, and I would love to hear it in much higher quality.

Many Thanks

Are you looking for the piece in question? Or are you wanting another piece??? Immediate music doesn't sell most of there stuff. If it isn't in iTunes or on amazon it probably isn't for sale. However if you look hard enough you can find their music.

"O Fortuna" is from a bigger work called Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

Here is is performed on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEllLECo4OM)

the link you gave is definitely not that piece but it sounds similar.

That set you linked is beautiful, I have added it to favorites on Youtube. BTW I found the piece by total fluke.

Very lovely, now to try to find it to purchase on CD/DVD so I can make custom rips for my iPhone.

Here (http://www.amazon.com/Orff-Carmina-Burana-Beethoven-Symphony/dp/B0001Z65PS) is is with Beethoven's 9th symphony. The Berlin Phil is an incredible orchestra so it should be an excellent recording.
