I see a new application called Offmaps is available today that allows downloading maps for use offline. Looks cool even though the open source maps it pulls from are so-so.
I would rather use something like this (or official gps apps once 3.0 goes live) rather than Google Maps net access but want to make sure maps I use are reliable.
