Right now I have a 1.5 year old Garmin nuvi 660. My traffic subscription expires in a month, and I use that extensively since traffic here is so unpredictable, and my maps on it are 2008, and 2010 maps are out, so I figured it's time to update, especially since I'm probably going to be taking my GPS on a couple road trips this summer and want updated maps for cities I've never been in before.
Traffic is $60 (used to be $60/year but now you get a lifetime subscription for $60) and maps are $70, bringing the total cost to $130.
A brand new Garmin 265WT, with comprable features to my 660 (widescreen and bluetooth are my big concerns) is $230 on Amazon. The 265WT comes with 2010 maps and free lifetime traffic.
I've been debating just getting the new one, but I really don't know....has GPS technology evolved so much in the past couple years that it would be worth the extra $100?
