Sonnet Zif Upgrade for Beige G3's

Does anyone know if the Sonnet Encore G4/700 upgrade Zif chip is supposed to have fans on its heat sinks? I recently purchased a used one and am hesitant to install because of the lack of fans differing from the picture on the box.

I can give some support. We just purchased the ZIFF G4-800 CPU for our G3 B&W and it does not have fans either as the picture shows on the box. I had other issues though and during my conversation with Sonnet they informed me that only some models of the CPU have fans. Apparently the 700-800 mhz range doesn't get hot enough, the picture was probably the 1ghz model. ;)
