Apple Music Store for Canada?

I would think that a Canadian store would be easier to get going than a European store. Eh? :D

Duff-Man says....we keep hearing "soon-ish." Remember it really is not all that simple to negotiate all these things...and while we Canadians think of ourselves as having pretty close ties to the USA, when it comes to the music biz things are very different. The whole "legal downoading" morass that is going though the courts comes to mind. Also, not to take anything away from our wonderful country. but when you look at the population here vs the population of Europe and look at the potential sales from each - where do you think they are going to put their most concentrated effort first........oh yeah!

I think this whole thing of "It's legal to share music in Canada" will seriously delay the advent of iTMS Canada. Music companies are kinda anal retentive to say the least. (Am I allowed to say that on TV?) :-/

I really want to see it come to Canada too, and the week they do finally bring out iTMS Canada, they should bring out a few exclusive things on iTMS by canadian artists who currently dont have exclusives on iTMS, and finally get bands like 5 Man Electrical Band, Trooper, and April Wine on the store :P

Well since music sharing is legal in Canada, I really never understood why Apple would make a iTMS Canada, or rush it out. They may make it one day, but it'll probably be last on their "Stores to make" list, judging from population size and....um.....our lax laws on music "piracy", the dumbest description of a person who d/l's music they could think of.
