I was watching an old episode of the TV show "Sliders" today on the SciFi channel. In it they group lands on a world where creativity is banned. Signs around all say "Think Alike". At the end of the episode one of the main characters admonishes the people to "Think Different". I thought, wow, someone on the writing staff must be an Apple fan.
Or psychic.
Turns out the episode aired on Sept. 17, 1999 (link (http://www.earthprime.com/\episode/episode.asp?ID=81)). Apple didn't launch the Think Different campaign until Sept. 29th (link (http://www.apple.com/pr/library/1997/q4/970929.pr.rel.adcampaign.html)), 12 days later, and even longer one can assume since the episode was actually written and filmed.
