thats a very nice image but its like finding a needle in a haystack on the net without a name or anything. But you never know MR members are very resourceful so it wouldn't surprise if someone finds it.

The image filename seems to be <ws_The_city_night_lights_1024x768.jpg>, which is how I found this page.

I can't be 100% sure but I believe that the photo is of Melbourne Australia. I can't find a web pic yet that shows the red lights on the left hand side of the photo but it seems to match up otherwise.

The previous poster was correct. This is the Yarra River looking downstream to the Melbourne CBD.

I did a bit of a search using terms like night, Yarra, Melbourne and found some lovely images but not this one. I wasn't prepared to spend more than a few minutes, you might be more patient if you really want the image.
