View Full Version : Win 7 RC x64 + VMWare Fusion = No Ethernet

I installed Win 7 64bit RC on my MP via Fusion 2.0.4. It cannot connect to my ethernet.

Does anyone else has this issue or it is just me? I didn't have any problems with the 7000 beta. Of course now even the beta won't connect. Just wondering if Win 7 RC screwed everything up or if there is something else going on. This is why I hate Windows.

Worked fine for me on my MacBook. Have you checked it has the drivers installed?

Thanks for confirming. Yes, I've installed and reinstalled the drivers to no help. At least I know the problem is on my end though.

Fixed the problem. Somewhere between updating Fusion to 2.0.4 and installing Win 7 RC my ethernet profile got mucked up. Uninstalling and reinstalling in Win fixed it. Works great now.
