All was working well until this morning and for no apparent reason now, my buddies can hear me, but I can't hear them...

it is the same on audio, video and screen sharing in iChat....
I go to iChat preferences > audio visual
and the drop down menu that used to read: 'internal speakers' has 'disappeared'!
(now there is only the microphone field and the bluetooth field!!)
I have re-booted ( x3) and gone into disk utility and repaired permissions... all to no avail....
audio works well elsewhere.. in iTunes, and Skype.. so this is definitely an iChat issue...
I'm on a 15" Macbook Pro, with Leopard OS X 10.5.6
Can anybody help??? I have searched the Mac Forums and can't find any info. on this issue!!! 😕
