It seems like i saw an adapter or card to hook up a gaming console to your cinema screen or just a mac in general but i forget what you call it? any info would be great

This adapter will let you hook anything with RCA outputs into a VGA monitor, which means it won't work on any of the newer ADC monitors without the ADC kit, and i don't even know if that would work.

Which gaming console are you trying to hook up? Like the previous poster said, you'll need the Apple DVI to ADC Display Adapter, then a DVI to VGA adapter...

And if you're wanting to hookup a gamecube, you can buy a modded HDTV cable that allows you to run all 480p games in VGA.
RCA to VGA looks kind of crappy usually.
