Other than a crappy install, it runs exactly the same as it did prior to the update.

Installed fine, nothing speedwise just as fast as before

I have installed full Combo 700MB 10.5.7.

Same speed and response. I have also installed new Safari beta. Nothing new at first sight.

After the update, I got some stuttering in graphics, so I repaired permissions, did the cache update manually, and double checked with fsck.

Fine now.

The update seems to remove punctuation from new threads - probably just an Apple thing...:D

Just as snappy as it's always been, I don't think this update was meant for a speed enhancement more of a security update by the looks of it.

As always point updates, I really notice nothing different.

video on hulu seems to not use as much cpu as it used to think the fans used to be around 4000 rpm now its at about 3000 when playing in 480p but other than that no big improvements

I had a perfectly stable install and a system running exactly as stable as it has previously. Updated through Software Update menu option... Fast download and smooth install.

+1 to Apple. :P

It runs pretty much the same as before. The only difference is now when the blue screen comes up at start up, instead of being there for 1-2 seconds, its there for about 10 seconds...

i will install in a little.. You usually dont notice much from the 10.5.x updates after the first couple, esp. with snow leopard coming out in a bit.

Is there an option for "Fine, but haven't noticed any changes"?

Update went without a hitch for the 11 machines in the store here, both with the combo update (my laptop) and the Software Update download on the other 10 demo models.

"Safari feels snappier." (well, someone had to say it...)

Install on 2 machines when fine. No problems on either.

barryst: +1 and, I think the OP needs less Red Bull ;)

I agree, I haven't noticed anything wrong or any improvements since the update.
