I was just wondering if there was a way to stop Software update from seeing applications or not update them. I have Aperture and it keeps telling me to update but i don't want to and was just wondering if there was a way to make Software update not see Aperture or put it on an exclude list or something, cheers.

I'm not on my Mac right now, so I can't really tell you exactly where it's at. Once you have the unwanted update selected, you should be able to click on an option in one of the menus that says "Ignore selected update".
