So I realized today that I'm running DirectX 9.0c on my iMac Alum. 20"/Radeon 2600XT, running XP SP2. Anyway, I've heard that DirectX 10.0 is out, so I'm wondering if it would negatively afffect my gaming at the least bit? If it does it at least some good, then I want it, but if its really pointless, or whatever, I would like to know. Thanks.

Ah wait, it seems as though 10 isn't really available or suited for XP anyway, so I guess I'll just stick to what I have until I get Vista.

DirectX 10 is Vista-only. 9.0c is the current version of DirectX for XP, so you are as up-to-date as possible!

I'm not much of a gamer, but I believe there is only one DirectX 10 only game, and maybe 20 other games that support enhanced effects on DirectX 10 machines.

Edit: You beat me to it :)
