Installing a windows PROGRAM from Mac desktop?

I have to install a program on my Fusion Windows. I inserted the disk and it shows up on my Mac desktop, but being a 'Windows idiot', I can't figure out how install the program on the VMFusion Windows. I went to start, then to 'my computer', but the disk doesn't show up there.
I went to "Run" and typed in the name of the disk. No luck.
What am I missing?

On the bottom of your Fusion window you should see a cd icon, make sure it's not grayed out. If so, click on the icon and choose to connect the CD/DVD.
